Why are iPads an overnight repair?
iPads screens are attached with an adhesive. We place your iPad on a heat plate for 45 minutes to soften the adhesive in order to remove the screen. We then completely clean the housing and reapply the adhesive. Once the repair is complete, we clamp the iPad in a gig for 4-6 hours to ensure the adhesive is set.
What does your lifetime warranty cover?
The lifetime warranty covers manufacturer defects only parts we install. Our most common installed part is a screen assembly. In this case, if your picture goes out, if the device stops responding to touch or the screen separates from the frame and there is no physical or moisture damage to your device we will come back our and replace the defective part. Our warranty covers parts and labor for the first year. After the first year our warranty covers parts only.
What does, "Lifetime Warranty on qualified devices" mean?
We offer a lifetime warranty on all parts we install which includes a one year labor warranty. We do not offer a warranty on devices with preexisting moisture damage or frame damage. Any physical or moisture damage after the repair will void the warranty.
If I break my screen after the repair is it covered by your warranty?
Unfortunately no, physical damage voids your warranty. However, we do sell screen protectors that will cover the cost of a repair due to physical damage. We offer options for coverage up to $100 or $300. Contact us or ask your technician for more details.
Where are you located?
iMobile Rx does not have a physical location. We are a fully mobile service meaning we come to you and do the repair at a site of your choice. We have done repairs in offices, homes and coffee shops, at public pools and parks. We have even done a repair in the parking lot of a grocery store while our client shopped for groceries. By eliminating the additional costs of a store front we are able to keep our prices low and offer a unique service saving you time and money.
